In January 2025 Glenmorgan Investments Limited announced that its Digital Asset Innovation Fund would reopen to new investors, with its cap increased from $500 million to $1 billion.

Background

The Digital Asset Innovation Fund was launched in 2018 and focuses on high-growth opportunities in the digital-asset space, including cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

Glenmorgan reported that the fund was capped in March 2024 to manage liquidity, as digital assets saw large inflows amid heightened media attention and ETF approvals.

Reasons for reopening

Glenmorgan cited strong performance milestones, growing institutional interest, the completion of the US elections and expected regulatory clarity. Sam Hargate, Chief Financial Officer, said the increased cap reflected the firm's commitment to giving existing and new clients access to the fund.

The firm also highlighted its focus on risk management and transparency. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
